Salvation Army of Palm Beach County presents

“Red Shield at Drive Shack, Swing for Hope”

JOIN US TO SUPPORT OUR VETERANS!

Show your support for The Salvation Army’s Veteran’s Program at Drive Shack Golf Range & Entertainment Venue

Gather friends, family and co-workers, or if unable to attend, give our veterans the opportunity to hit longballs in Drive Shack’s scenic hitting bays. Each swing provides HOPE to otherwise homeless heroes in Palm Beach County. The Salvation Army’s Veteran’s Program offers faith-based transitional housing and support programming at our Center of Hope for our most vulnerable veterans. Please see below for details on the event, sponsorship opportunities and tickets, as well as details of our Veteran’s program.

Individual Tickets - Individual tickets can be purchased starting on August 14th.

Individual Golfer Ticket: $150.00 per person, includes golf, food and beverage.

Why support this program?

Our veterans are still fighting battles.

At least 20% of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans suffer from PTSD and/or depression.
A $25 donation helps provide one veteran a week of counseling at The Salvation Army’s Center of Hope.

PTSD can lead to addiction.

More than 20% of veterans with PTSD also suffer from an addiction or dependence on drugs or alcohol.
When you donate your used goods to The Salvation Army, you help fund rehabilitation programs that heal addiction.

Coming home to homelessness.

Veterans of our armed forces represent 8% of the U.S. homeless population.
